 The first owl chicks were hatched on April 6th and by today they are 20 days old.  The female considers her offspring so big now that she left them on their own for a whole day, without parental care and warming. A few more weeks and the owlets will leave the nest for good.

 

It is a challenge for both parents to keep the young fed.
