The badger camera recently changed its location because the well-known badger pair Kadi and Tõnis showed their striped faces ever more rarely in the home sett. Where did they go? In fact even last summer they were mostly somewhere else. Remembering how the creatures were scratching themselves most of the time in camera view it can be supposed that they fled for a time from the parasites running wild in the burrows. It is known that badgers can have ”summer cottages” – setts that are used only during the summer months. Maybe they have moved there. Now there is a new sett with other badgers in badger camera view. We will however keep an eye on the home of Kadi and Tõnis with a trail camera. It will show in which sett life will be livelier.
